Why I’m Doing This

What started as a creative outlet has grown into something much more meaningful.

I’ve poured countless hours into the writing, podcasting, photography, and storytelling that go into The Southern Blueprint—not because I had to, but because I love it.

Now, I’m working toward making this my full-time job—to dedicate myself fully to this kind of content, this community, and the experiences we’re building together. One of the cornerstones of the Lodge is The Bookhouse—our members-only reading circle. Each month, we’ll choose a book (usually Southern, often strange, always interesting) and meet in the Discord to talk about it.

Then, once a month, we’ll host a live video discussion where we can unpack what we’ve read and share our thoughts—no pressure, no pretentiousness. Just good stories and people who care about them.
