This month, we’re reading Blood and Treasure: Daniel Boone and the Fight for America’s First Frontier. A time was had! Every year, I always forget to take photos during the actual party 😂 The weekend is upon us. Looking forward to the Kentucky Derby tomorrow! It’s almost Kentucky Derby time and who wants to deal with decision fatigue? We will let the ponies decide 😂 Your Ultimate 2026  Kentucky Derby Guide That bright blue against a Carolina sky, the rust-colored chest, the way it sits on a fence line like it owns the land—it’s one of those birds that feels like it belongs to the South as much as anything else. Am I the only one that collects these? Back in 1999, @woodfordreserve released its first commemorative Derby bottle. It wasn’t just about the bourbon—it was about marking a moment. Then in 2003, they took it a step further and began featuring commissioned artwork from different artists each year, turning every bottle into a snapshot of the race, the culture, and the pageantry that surrounds it.
